Un Federico Cantú que finco su grandeza en monumentos, universidades, símbolos, billetes de lotería , timbres postales y monedas, edificios públicos, sacros y privados. Un Virtuoso maestro en el manejo de buril , cincel y pincel. Que Dominaría con la misma maestría el arte de caballete y mural.
El gran maestro del Arte Sacro y Profano del arte mitológico del arte nacionalista ,del desnudo, retrato, paisaje…….

The National Institute of Fine Arts, through the National Coordination of Visual Arts celebrates the 110th birth anniversary of the plastic artist Federico Cantú, who stood out as painter, engraver, muralist and sculptor. He is considered the best Mexican engraver of the 20th century.
Federico Cantú developed an intense plastic activity for more than 70 years of artistic creation. He died in Mexico City in 1989.
To commemorate the birth of the Mexican painter, the National Institute of Fine Arts organizes the roundtable Federico Cantú. The Last of the Romantics, which will take place next Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 7pm in the Adamo Boari Hall of the Palace of Fine Arts.
